The use of a unique, low-energy Biphasic waveform technology has enabled a dramatic reduction in size and weight, resulting in a product the size of a hard cover book that weighs just four pounds. The device is also designed for extreme ease-of-use, with voice prompts and icons instructing the operator through each step.

The use of long-life batteries, self-test, and self-calibration technologies enable the device to be virtually maintenance free for extended periods.
